User story

Some servers can't be obtained anonymously and attempting to login with Steam Guard enabled breaks the login process. Procedure fix mentioned below.

Game

Terraria

Linux distro

Other

Command

command: install

Further information

The scripts around logging in need to be updated. Here's how the process should work.

steamcmd +login USER PASS GUARD +@NoPromptForPassword 1 +whatever...

From then on, only ever call steamcmd +login USER, nothing else. Output from Steam should be used to provide feedback regarding the process.

I'd suggest a 60s? delay before first login to give users time to edit common.cfg to set the guard code.

Relevant log output

Steps to reproduce

No response

Files that appear at first glance needing a rewrite around this logic: ./lgsm/modules/core_dl.sh and ./lgsm/modules/core_steamcmd.sh

Perhaps the logic could go in ./lgsm/modules/core_steamcmd.sh:fn_check_steamcmd_user(), specifically check to see if any steamguard (new variable?) is set and if so require password and username and do an initial Steam Guard login. Maybe then set steamguard to -1 (if it worked). In any other place, check for steamguard -1 and if so only do +login USER, otherwise continue as normal (user+password).

Literal example: steamcmd +login USER "PASSWORD" 01234 +@NoPromptForPassword 1 +quit
