@gOOvER commented on GitHub (Sep 12, 2020):
Don't forget, that Dev's now recommend DotNet insteed of Mono
@h3o66 commented on GitHub (Sep 12, 2020):
Interesting is there anywhere a info about this ?
@gOOvER commented on GitHub (Sep 12, 2020):

@gOOvER commented on GitHub (Sep 12, 2020):
mb you need to use such a startscript:
export DOTNET_BUNDLE_EXTRACT_BASE_DIR=./dotnet-bundle && ./EcoServerI maintain the ECO Egg for Pterodactyl Gameserver Panel
@h3o66 commented on GitHub (Sep 12, 2020):
Even without a installed dotnet it seems to work.
Comment from the dev there:
So probably dotnet is only needed for mods then i guess.
@gOOvER commented on GitHub (Sep 12, 2020):
Nope, not only for Mods. ECO runs with Mono, no Question. I started with a Mono 6 Container, but it's not recommended.
@h3o66 commented on GitHub (Sep 12, 2020):
The latest version does seem to run without a installed dotnet core or mono.
Only the new dependency seems to be needed.
For lgsm I just tried this with the debug mode.
@dgibbs64 commented on GitHub (Sep 12, 2020):
If I remember correctly from speaking with a Eco dev months ago 0.9.0 was doing away with mono.
@samjco commented on GitHub (Sep 17, 2020):
Getting error:
[ FAIL ] Starting ecoserver: executable was not found
@dgibbs64 commented on GitHub (Sep 17, 2020):
Next release fixes the issue. Major changes with 0.9.0
