Also the steamgroup id can be found by http://api.steampowered.com/ISteamUser/GetUserGroupList/v0001/?key={steamapikey}&steamid={userid}

where userid is the last part of http://steamcommunity.com/profiles/{lots-o-numbers}

There are multiple possible groups a user can be in, I am unsure how to get the name/string of them as of yet.

Looks like a useful setting for server.cfg file. I will not be adding this in to the default config however as this setting is not required to get a server up and running. I only add the basic config to get the server started. I am looking at adding a forum to my blog to allow people to chat about this kind of thing. To help people configure there configs once they have the server installed.

This stuff is harder to enumerate than I thought.

Does valve ship a default config?
