Hello.
It could be awesome to be able to translate te alert messages (eventually with templates). I could provide French translation. It could be done by config files.

Hi,

I'm french and against the idea. Everything is documented in english, config files are in english, parameters are in english, Linux documentation is in english... And my next tutorials are probably gonna be only in english as well. If one can't understand basic english in notifications, I believe he'd better stop right away and find another activity, like... learning english a little bit.

Do you think I'm making a point?

I do think that you are right. I proposed my services as a contribution to the project and the community.
Please take in consideration that the request was made for the alerts only, the alerts that are sended to Telegram, Mail or PushBullet, like ( Alert - arkserver - Updated ). The content already (depends on chosen channel) supports html tags. Servers by definition are for communities, sometime (not my case) these communities don't speak or understand English. They could translate if needed, the idea was to improve and contribute.
Thank you for your answer,

Well I congrats the idea and the good will, but the problem is that it would probably lead to many requests, consuming a lot of time, as well as implementing the thing, for very few functional benefits in the end.
Especially french man... If a french can't understand "server restarted/crashed/updated", screw him, I don't give a damn, he can go back to school before trying to use a computer again, he's got no excuse. Remember that LinuxGSM is dedicated to server admins, not Jean-Kevin Kikoolol that played a game twice in his life, buys windows and doesn't speak a word of english.

In order to add this functionality, note that all game server config files need to be updated, many variables need to be renamed, a way for multilang needs to be imagined and deployed, while preserving retrocompatibility. You also need to figure out a way to communicate available languages to users, and implementing a new language needs to be as simple as possible. Also, variable outputting order might need to be adjusted as well in order for sentences to make sense.

I assume you understand that I will definately not code this mess, considering my limited time and my opinion about it. Though, if you want to work on it so that your noob users can understand that the server was rebooted, feel free to pull-request something and we will see what we can do.

I like the idea, however, as @UltimateByte states, the amount of time and complications that it would add are quite high. If LinuxGSM wasn't developed using BASH it might work. I also think there would be a limited use for this. Maybe something to consider for the future but not currently. Thanks for the suggestion.
