The last time I asked you about a server restart closed questions. I think this is a significant change in valve. So far have not solved. Look here:ValveSoftware/Source-1-Games#1823
I think you should update the next version. When the server receives a quit command. The server will automatically restart if close.! This completely solved the problem!
Like in the WINDOWS that in CS1.6 there is a monitor name HLSM. it on the server receives reboot restart the server.
@Scarsz commented on GitHub (Sep 16, 2014):
What's the purpose of this? To restart the server on exit? If so that's either already implemented in gsquerry as well as just a using the restart command in the script.
@dgibbs64 commented on GitHub (Sep 16, 2014):
The scripts kinda already do this with the monitor feature. I recommend changing the cron to 1 min instead of 5. This means the monitor will bring the server back online after 1 min 30 seconds after entering the quit command.
I am considering having the monitor automatically check every 30 seconds when the start command is activated and shut off when stop is run. This will remove the need for a cron at all. However this is not something I will be doing right away if at all. (there are plenty of other things I need to do currently).
@guangchan commented on GitHub (Sep 16, 2014):
Thanks for your reply
If the valve does not solve the problem in the word. I recommend that you update as soon as possible the next version
I always love linux. Without this problem occurred in WINDOWS. If this. I'm going to use windows? Is very disturbing.
@guangchan commented on GitHub (Sep 16, 2014):
I will always online pay attention to this problem
@dgibbs64 commented on GitHub (Sep 16, 2014):
The same problem occurs in Windows however someone has written a script to automatically detect the quit command and restart the server.
As I have already stated ./csgoserver monitor will achieve the same thing. At most you would wait 1 minute 30 seconds for the server to restart.
Use the following cron.
*/1 * * * * su - csgoserver -c '/home/csgoserver/csgoserver monitor' > /dev/null 2>&1
