Installed clipy v1.2.1. Only can record text. Cannot record any picture or screenshot at all. Do this version have compatibility issues with macOs Big Sur 11.2.1 ?
@aalinyu commented on GitHub (Feb 23, 2021):
same question
@drej1 commented on GitHub (Feb 23, 2021):
I have the same issue. But I think I had this issue on 11.x.y on M1 SoC.
UPDATE:
I god a colleague with intel chipser Big Sur 11.2.1 (same as me) and Clipy is recording screenshots for him.
I also have a problem with formatted text, it looks that only plain text can be pasted...
@joedrums8a commented on GitHub (Feb 23, 2021):
How did you even get it to run on Big Sur 11.2.1. It simply will not run on mine. I have uninstalled & reinstalled several times. When I double click to open, the app icon does the open animation, but the program does not actually open.
Is there something I can do to force it to open?
@dbeebybk commented on GitHub (Mar 1, 2021):
I'm having the same problem. Clipy runs, but since Big Sur there've been no screenshot or copied images in my Snippets list. This is a major bummer... my mouse is working overtime!
@hutingjing commented on GitHub (Mar 10, 2021):
you can check your safety and privacy settings. It maybe stopped by some security settings.
@joedrums8a commented on GitHub (Mar 16, 2021):
Clipy already has permission for "Accessibility". Are there other settings I should give it permission for?
@benefitkitchen commented on GitHub (Mar 16, 2021):
SOLUTION(?):
I went to "Security & Privacy" --> "Privacy" --> "Full Disk Access" --> "+" and added Clipy.app. After a restart (Clipy) screenshots started to appear in the Clipy preview pane. SOLVED (for me).
@joedrums8a commented on GitHub (Mar 16, 2021):
Just tried that, but I still can't even get it to open in the first place! Even restarted my machine and still nothing.
Any other suggestions?
@benefitkitchen commented on GitHub (Mar 16, 2021):
Dang, dunno. Do you have an admin account on the machine you're using?
@joedrums8a commented on GitHub (Mar 16, 2021):
I do, but I'm the admin. I'm doomed, huh?
@qxxiao commented on GitHub (Mar 19, 2021):
Similarly, in version 1.2.1 , using cmd+c for pictures files allows you to copy pictures to the history, but for other screenshots or pictures(e.g. snipates screenshots or webpage images...) saved to the clipboard, it will not be saved to the history directly.
@ipa2800 commented on GitHub (May 8, 2021):
I have the same problem,even after I set the right Privacy in setting(Fulldisk & Accessibility) and restart my computer,there is not any picture in history.
The Clipy version is 1.2.1
@vokshirg commented on GitHub (May 17, 2021):
Mac os 11.3.1 (20E241)
Clipy 1.2.1
The same issue
@TetsuyaTakasawa commented on GitHub (Jan 10, 2023):
Hi, I have same issue. Anything is fine?
Mac 10.15
intel i5
clipy latest
@vokshirg commented on GitHub (Jan 12, 2023):
I'm using Pelican now and that is works perfect
@TetsuyaTakasawa commented on GitHub (Jan 17, 2023):
@vokshirg
Thanks.
BTW, have you used clippy?
Some difference is there between Clippy and Perican?
@vokshirg commented on GitHub (Jan 18, 2023):
It was free when I bought it, and I haven't noticed any differences.
For now it costs 1$ https://apps.apple.com/us/app/pelican-clipboard-manager/id1524721688?mt=12
and images are not showed in clipboard menu, but you could paste it to anywhere
@TetsuyaTakasawa commented on GitHub (Jan 18, 2023):
So kind are you.
Thanks.
