Original GitHub issue: https://github.com/KelvinTegelaar/CIPP/issues/1135
I have found several tenants where their root SharePoint doesn't follow the default schema for the root SharePoint admin URL. An example is a tenant we took over from AppRiver that uses a root URL (e.g.: appriver1234567890-admin.sharepoint.com) This results in a dead link when following via CIPP.

confirmed in Discord and planned for maybe fridays out of band release, or otherwise the week after for the normal release.

This issue is stale because it has been open 10 days with no activity. We will close this issue soon. If you want this feature implemented you can contribute it. See: https://cipp.app/GettingStarted/Contributions/ . Please notify the team if you are working on this yourself.

So, is this going the way of "it's a feature!"?
@KelvinTegelaar commented on GitHub (Oct 12, 2022):
No, it just means that no one has had the ability to pick this up yet. CIPP is an open source application. If you're having an issue, feel free to resolve that yourself by editing the code and making a PR, or becoming a sponsor to help with the development of the application.
