Problem Statement
We are using a few products to compare standards on tenants, but recently started moving all our standards into CIPP.
One thing that is lacking is the ability to compare a tenant against another tenant to identify what is missing. Having a "master" or "gold" tenant where changes are made then comparing this against our customers and being notified if a setting has slipped, changed or missing would be awesome!
Benefits for MSPs
This would allow MSP's to quickly see if any settings, policies, and standards are missing over customer base, and compare them, ensuring they are all correct. If a setting is deliberately changed, accepting the slip from the baseline can be possible.
If changes occur and email alert to CIPP admins/notifications can alert of unwanted changes.
Value or Importance
This would allow us to stop using MS365DSC tool which is clunky and we dont enjoy using. It would also bring it into a single tool we use already.
Inforcer, SAAS alerts, and other tools do similar things but with standards already in CIPP would be a one stop shop.

Microsoft explicitly recommends against this, so its something we will not implement
