Please confirm:

  • I have searched existing feature requests (open and closed) and found no duplicates.
  • **me or my organization is currently an active sponsor of the product at the $99,- level.

Problem Statement

I would like to take advantage of the Team Global Meeting Policy standard however I need to be able to allow external parties to request/grant control as across our client base Teams is used for support calls with vendors and occasionally ourselves.

Could the "AllowExternalParticipantGiveRequestControl" please be added as a configurable option within the existing Teams Global Meeting Policy standard.

Benefits for MSPs

Would save us having to update the Teams meeting policy manually and give us the confidence the policy as a whole can't be changed

Value or Importance

We can't currently guarantee Teams Meeting Policies are configured securely as it's not feasible to be regularly checking this.

PowerShell Commands (Optional)

Set-CsTeamsMeetingPolicy -AllowExternalParticipantGiveRequestControl $true | $false
