Description of the new feature - must be an in-depth explanation of the feature you want, reasoning why, and the added benefits for MSPs as a whole.
Description of the new feature:
We are using the Policy Templates under Device Management with great success, and they have significantly streamlined our processes. However, it would be a valuable addition if we could edit the displayname and description of templates directly from the CIPP UI.
Currently, when a technician imports a template from a tenant and forgets to update the title or description in Intune, it creates additional steps for us. We need to remove the template from CIPP and then re-import it with the correct name and description. Allowing these fields to be edited directly in CIPP would save time and reduce unnecessary back-and-forth.
This feature could potentially be added under Actions > More Info or Actions > Edit, where fields for editing the Displayname and Description could be provided, along with a confirm button to save changes.
