It appears that the new version of Boost Note doesn't implement KaTeX, this is a pretty big issue for notes relating to Data Science, is this a feature that's going to be implemented after the beta?

Other features that are missing / ought to be implemented are:

  • Creating internal links to notes
  • Allow selecting Concurrent tags like in the original Boostnote v 13
  • Prune tags that don't match when selecting concurrently so you can 'follow' them to a note.
    • Think how evernote on iOS filters notes by tags, this is a really powerful way to search
  • Keyboard shortcuts like C-n to create a new note
  • Attaching Files
  • Allow editing Files in an external editor
    • e.g. I have a tonne of snippets implemented in vim with UltiSnips and I couldn't imagine writing TeX without them.
  • Automatically Copy/Paste when pressing a code button
    • This was a big advantage to Boostnote over for example Joplin
  • The original CSS had a black background for code snippets that made them far easier to read, this should be re-implemented for readability sake.

Great! In what version will this be available? I just downloaded Boostnote and I have no TeX support.

@Rokt33r any updates on this?

This and #331 are closed but there's still no TeX support? I also don't see it in the next milestone.

Is there another issue or PR pending for this?

Thanks @Flexo013!
Yes sorry my mistake I had v0.14 (tried to use TeX a couple of weeks back), so just tested v0.3.0 which worked as expected on macos + ios (I note the delimiter has changed since documented in previous app).

This is great work thanks 🎉 I'll definitely be migrating over from Bear.
