Current behavior

When create a new Note, I don't see it appears in the menu left side. I have to click the button Reload (Ctrl + R) to make it shows every time.

Also, when I switch over note, there's some alert flick in the right corner.
I don't know which version of boots note I use, but I guess this is the latest.

Hi,

sorry for long delay,

can you please look at the preferences for version, or make a screenshot of the issue, so we can determine version,
where did you download it, what was the last time you updated the application?

Are you using cloud services, or just local storage?

I had a look carefully in preferences and I don't see in anywhere the version show up. Since the first day use, I never see the version's information although I always want to see it. When I clicked on File > Check For Update it shows "Current version is up-to-date".
Actually, each time I add a new note, it does not show right away in menu left side. I have to always Reload for that in order to make it appears. This not happens before. I sent you two images. The first is show that I add a new file named "General" in a folder Typescript. The second as you see unfortunately, there's no file show in that Typescript folder in the left menu.

Some Info: I use Ubuntu 20.04 OS, application boost-note-linux.AppImage. And my workspace is on Cloud.
Thanks.

Hi,

thanks for all the info, I tried to reproduce it on my machine, it seems that this happens when you have that folder opened in sidenav, and it does not refresh correctly, but it does if you just move to another folder, and then back.

I'll see if we can fix it, but you don't need to completely refresh the app to get the note in sidenav, doing some action which reloads data in sidenav is enough.

It also seem to happen mostly in deeply nested folders, top level ones seem to refresh okay.

short video reproducing the error:

I'm seeing the same issue as well.
