Current behavior

When I open the app, Boostnote just shows a black window without any buttons and UI. Essentially, there is no way for me to use it.

Install Boostnote
Open it on mac

Has anyone found a way to get this to work? Tried installing it on a fresh M1 Mac and got the same blank window

Hi,

are you installing the latest application?

Can you try opening the console tab in the app (by going to developer tools, Ctrl+Shift+I, or Ctrl+Alt+Shift+I shortcut)

For me this was because on first load it was taking ages to download the main js file and there is no loading screen.

Perhaps a loader explaining the first boot is loading would help users.
