Images/attachments not indexed in Attachments when importing from BoostNote legacy

Current behavior

I have imported notes from Boostnote legacy in a test storage (filestorage based). The notes have attachments, mostly images. They are beeing rendered, but they are not indexed in Attachments. Even when i create a new note and past an image (or drag an drop) it doesn't how up in Attachments.

I tried to reproduce this with an easier example, where I opened a new filestorage, create a note and past a picture. However, this comes up in Attachments.

The console doesn't show anything interesting:

Expected behavior

All attachments should be listed in Attachments

Steps to reproduce

I could upload my BoostNote folder if you like. Without it it's difficult to reproduce :/.

Environment

Desktop/Web

  • Boost Note.next version:
  • OS version and name: Linux Mint 18.3 Sylvia

I am experiencing a similar problem. When I import from the legacy boost note to the new storage in the new boost note, only half of the attachments are copied to the new destination.

Hi xkLander,

Can you update the boostnote versions to latest and see if the issue persists?
I couldn't reproduce it with the latest versions.

If you have storage/folder/notes which you can share (that reproduces the issue), feel free to contact me on slack (boostnote slack).
Or if you can reproduce it with simple note/attachment it would help addressing this issue.

I will try multiple attachments, maybe the problem is if one fails, others are not really copied, and one could be missing or not used in notes etc. (this seems to work fine)

EDIT:
So please, to resolve this issue, try latest versions - I think it should work fine and load all attachments, if issue persists, please try to recreate it with minimal notes/attachments and post it here, thanks!
