F-Droid is an installable catalogue of FOSS (Free and Open Source Software) applications for the Android platform. The client makes it easy to browse, install, and keep track of updates on your device.
Having an app on f-droid will give the following benefits:
If that aligns with the aims of BoostNote, this would be a good thing to do.

After checking dependencies, maybe gms could be a problem. That could be solved with a fdroid build-flavour if you're welling to.
