Currently we're using custom icons. They have several problems. Firstly, their size is not inconsistent. Also if we want to introduce new features with new icons, we need to make the icon by ourselves. It should be really tiresome work and we don't have someone who can actively take care of all icons. So I'm going to replace all custom icons with material design icons which provide tons of options. I'm sure that it would make our development speed much more faster.

A simple question why we don't use boostnote (not boostnote.next) icons. They are very fantastic.

As I explained in the body, we don't have someone who can actively care of all icons. Also I think using time to create icon just for this app is a bit too much for now. If I have time to do it, I would like to spend more time to introduce new features and to fix bugs.

I agree that switching from the current inconsistent icons to the old set would be a nice improvement. There also exist open source icons that we could use if we find some are missing.

I would also not mind adding some icons myself if needed.

@Flexo013 does this mean you are opposing the suggestion to use material design? these are open source as well, high quality and very complete

Using material design icons would also be entirely fine by me.
