Bug Description

Due to being unable to download apps from the store for over half a year, I have not been able to pinpoint the issue.

However, given that the reports are concentrated on failures occurring after RDP connections, and considering that the mstsc DLL was upgraded in version 1.2.0, I suspect that the issue may lie with the AxMstsc.DLL

Temporary Solution

I downgraded the store version to Installer_1.0.99.0.

Recruiting volunteers here to assist me with testing, as I am unable to download the app from the store.

How to join 1.2.0(Store) test

Plan A

If you wanna give a help on 1.2.0(Store) mail me with your Microsoft Store account, I will add you to the Beta group

Image

Plan B

install the following package

https://github.com/1Remote/1Remote/releases/download/1.2.0/Installer_1.0.106.0_AnyCPU_StoreRelease.1.2.0.zip

Tip

you need to right-click, select "Properties" go to the "Digital Signatures" tab, and install the certificate to the "Trusted Root Certification Authorities" in order to install this package.

I stumbled upon this nice program. I'm currently testing the program and i'm happy to do some testing/translating.

@Sentinel78 you are so kind, Please let me know if you can trigger the bug in version 1.2.0 (Store). I need someone who can reproduce the bug and assist me in pinpointing which code commit introduced this issue.

I previously experienced this issue. I have installed the version above (Plan B) and am now able to connect to RDP with no problems.

@CuinnWylie THX for response. Plan B also worked for me, so I now suspect that automatic transcoding or some other processing by Microsoft Store caused the store version 1Remote to malfunction.
