Bug Description
Due to being unable to download apps from the store for over half a year, I have not been able to pinpoint the issue.
However, given that the reports are concentrated on failures occurring after RDP connections, and considering that the mstsc DLL was upgraded in version 1.2.0, I suspect that the issue may lie with the AxMstsc.DLL
Temporary Solution
I downgraded the store version to Installer_1.0.99.0.
Recruiting volunteers here to assist me with testing, as I am unable to download the app from the store.

I stumbled upon this nice program. I'm currently testing the program and i'm happy to do some testing/translating.
@VShawn commented on GitHub (May 27, 2025):
@Sentinel78 you are so kind, Please let me know if you can trigger the bug in version 1.2.0 (Store). I need someone who can reproduce the bug and assist me in pinpointing which code commit introduced this issue.
@Sentinel78 commented on GitHub (May 27, 2025):
How can I download version 1.2? I only see the dopwngraded version (1.0.105.0)?
The installed version from the store is 1.1.1.2 it seems.
@VShawn commented on GitHub (May 28, 2025):
@Sentinel78 I have updated the guidelines, please refer to

emory at hey dot comis my priority inbox i guess 😂@CuinnWylie commented on GitHub (Jun 5, 2025):
I previously experienced this issue. I have installed the version above (Plan B) and am now able to connect to RDP with no problems.
@VShawn commented on GitHub (Jun 14, 2025):
@CuinnWylie THX for response. Plan B also worked for me, so I now suspect that automatic transcoding or some other processing by Microsoft Store caused the store version 1Remote to malfunction.
@CuinnWylie commented on GitHub (Jun 16, 2025):
@VShawn Have sent through an email to your listed gmail address. Shout out if you would like me to test the store version as well.
