Please watch the video, the IME icon disappears from the system tray and other icons move when RDP is connected. Mouse-over works on the icon as seen. However, right-clicking or left-clicking on the taskbar (including the system tray) returns it to its original view, and the click action has unexpected results.

This is probably a Windows issue and may be specific to Japanese IMEs.

I will look into it when I have time.

plz check the mstsc.exe, it works the same way. so it would be a 'feature' of RDP.

Confirmed with mstsc.exe. Yeah, this is a Microsoft issue. I've submitted this issue to the Feedback Hub.
